Prysm is seeking a Production Operator to support production of their laser phosphor displays, operating within ISO 9001 environment.

The position consists of performing production assembly and test operations. The position requires following written work instructions and ensuring that quality requirements are met. Accurate data entry in Prysm databases and business systems is also required. May support development engineering by building prototypes and supporting experiments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment and computers
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications
• Operate within standard production procedures
• Complete daily production logs as required
• Communicate with operators from other shifts
• Clean and maintain work area
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Knowledge and Skills Requirement

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity required for operating equipment and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds required.
• Previous experience working with optical components.
• Previous experience working in a clean room environment preferred
